DEEOIC Home Care for Former DOE Workers in East Tennessee
Harmony At Home is an approved provider under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA), administered by the U.S. Department of Labor's Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC). Former workers at Oak Ridge's Y-12, K-25, and X-10 facilities — as well as their eligible survivors — may qualify for fully covered in-home care billed directly to the Department of Labor at no cost to the worker.
Who Is Eligible
- Former employees of Department of Energy (DOE) facilities in Oak Ridge, TN
- Former contractors and subcontractors at Y-12 National Security Complex, K-25 (East Tennessee Technology Park), and X-10 (Oak Ridge National Laboratory)
- Workers from other covered DOE sites across the nation
- Eligible surviving spouses and dependents
What DEEOIC Home Care Covers
Approved DEEOIC home care services include personal care assistance, companion care, homemaker services, medication reminders, meal preparation, and other non-medical in-home support. All services are billed directly to the Department of Labor — no out-of-pocket cost to the covered worker.
